Gov Gav’s new hire has had plenty of trouble with the law
Incoming Governor Gavin Newsom appointed Ana Matosantos, the Director of Finance for the last two governors, as his cabinet secretary, to oversee the state’s vast bureaucracy of agencies.
Perhaps he should have selected Matosantos as a legal advisor, given her run-ins with the law.
In October 2011, she was arrested after midnight in Sacramento for driving under the influence .
A California Highway Patrol officer made the arrest after he noticed her swerving and that her registration was expired.
She offered her resignation to Gov. Jerry Brown, but it was not accepted.
More recently, in April of this year, Matosantos, a member of the Puerto Rico Oversight Board, which has come under fire for alleged ethics violations over her financial interests in the island’s renewable energy industry.
The National Legal and Policy Center told Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a letter that they sought to have her removed from the board, appointed by the federal government to manage the debt restructuribg of the financially troubled island.
In her defense you’d drink too if you were a Dem zombie and had to be around other Dem zombies all the time but this kind of “leadership” is a nightmare for the rest of us and for the future of California.
does mass corruption mean anything to CA Dem’s.. Apparently not.. This is a clue as to how corrupt the new marxist governor will be.. Leave folks.. Kalyfornizuela is now in the beginning stages of all communist revolutions and punishment for any who oppose them is in the cards.
