This idea of packing a poor bear into a bus to use as a stage prop is even stupider than many ideas advanced by the Democrats.
Bears are not usually considered to be domesticated companion animals, such as dogs or cats, and can be dangerous if provoked. What will Cox do if the bear turns aggressive on one of these stupid campaign stunts? Will he shoot the poor bear to prove what a “beast” he is?

Cox has accomplished one thing. He has made Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner one of the more serious candidates, and made himself a real joke.

Mr. Cox. This is NOT helping matters!
Electing the “greater loon” is NOT and upgrade from the “lesser loon” currently in office. Remember, “some days you eat the bear, on other days, the bear eats you”.
For F**K sakes! This is Governance by Barnum and Bailey! PLEEEEZZZZEEEE STOP!
All that said, I’d still rather vote for an invertebrate than Newsom or any democrat. But what does that leave? All democrats are devoid of spines anyway. We’ve reached terminal hopelessness.

The CA republican party keeps endorsing milquetoasts who will reach across the isle and maybe snare some fence-sitters. That’s the theory. Here in the real world that includes CA no matter what the delusional want to think, lefties are NOT going to vote for a republican, and many republicans won’t even bother to vote because their only options are commie and commie-lite. What the CA republicans really need is someone who will reach across the isle and bloody the nose of a commie or three. Unfortunately every time such a man shows up, the party won’t give him the time… Read more »

Aren’t we more than DONE with John Cox? He had so much rich fodder in Gruesome in 2018 and he didn’t do ANYTHING about it. Didn’t go after him at all. Talked about irrelevancies and how he was a “builder,” which haunted him as the opposition painted him as a slumlord. Brilliant. Not! He was passive, weak, quiet, when we needed him MOST. Next!

In other news, a woman in Durango, Colorado was just killed and devoured by two bears while out walking her dogs.

When I see that pic all I hear in my head is “Here’s Cal Worthington and his dog Spot…”
(Note to millennials: Search for Cal Worthington on YouTube to get the reference.)

I’ve still got that “Go see Cal” song stuck in my head. Calvin Worthington was a man that led an interesting life. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cal_Worthington As a pilot of a B-17, he flew 29 missions over Germany. As a car salesman, his ads are TV classics. They often aired with classic late night Saturday programs, such as “The Hot Seat, with Wally George,” and of course, the “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.” Back then, I went to “Go see Cal,” for the first time to buy a new pickup. Despite the fact that I was young, the nice lady that worked “fixed” my… Read more »

Saw a guy wrestling a bear at a car dealership in North Hollywood 1969 when I was 8. 🙂

Cox looks pathetic and desperate doing this. You know it’s bad when disgraced State Senator Josh Newman campaigning in a bear suit looks good by comparison.

No kidding. And are we going to have to spend a lot of time and energy getting him to drop out or back whatever viable candidate we DO end up getting —- if we’re lucky? John Cox is CLUELESS.

The only one that could pass is Jesus nowadays on the Republican side. Need someone without blemish. I mean look at what the demorats did to Trump and Trump was one of their own for decades!

Most of these guys at this level run in the same circles and have lots of blackmail material. I am hopeful but I realize what’s going on and why RINOs are in abundance.

Not sure we need a flawless candidate but we do need someone who has guts and a plan and some charisma. Let’s see what happens, it’s early yet. Fingers crossed.

The way they rip apart the candidate on the right I think keeps some good ones out from running. Could not be the case but I know I’d think twice before stepping into the ring. I went through something similar as VP of a college….wasn’t for my stomach. I am hoping you are right..it is early yet and I know it’s all in the timing when things are announced.
