From Essential California by the L.A. Times: “California launches the largest free school lunch program in the U.S. All 6.2 million California public school students will have the option to eat school meals for free when classrooms reopen for the fall term. The option was made possible by the state’s unexpected budget surplus. The program will be the largest free student lunch program in the country. “This is so historic. It’s beyond life-changing,” said Erin Primer, director of food services for the San Luis Coastal Unified School District on California’s Central Coast. Los Angeles Times ” California has an unexpected… Read more »

I couldn’t care less about Newsom and his lack of a moral compass. I care deeply about California and what it has become. Newsom is just another termite in the house and like every other termite, he as to go.

We have the Constitution for a Jeffersonian democracy. Now we have to use it. CA once gave all sorts of people fabulous opportunity and it can again. Let’s take back CA.

This is definitely not business as usual. You can’t trust that news source. Everyone must do what he or she can to see that this recall is solid. No cutesy or spiteful voting. You must care. You must elect someone who knows what he or she is doing. That is Kiley. A new broom sweeps clean. He apparently is not beholden to anyone. So, similar to Trump but with no money. But he has the advantage of knowing the territory very well.

The Harvard and Yale education bothers me. It wouldn’t have, 25 years ago; but, those are and have been woke propaganda mills for decades, now. Elder has both name recognition and a history; plus, the Sec of State just gave him more visibility by the bogus attempt to have him thrown off the ballot. It’s clear the CA machine fears him the most. Either candidate would be a better choice than Newsom, who only wanted governorship in CA as a springboard to the presidency; a place the corrupt Newsom would fit right into with all the others in the District… Read more »

Kiley’s history of legal opposition–he’s part of a very small minority in CA govt– to Newsom shows that he values the meaning of the CA Constitution. He has won a case against Newsom’s overreach. You have to balance that–his insider knowledge of CA govt– against Harvard/Yale. What Elder has going for him mainly is name recognition. He may be smart but I saw him on a video with Candace Owens dissing white people, esp women. He doesn’t have the experience and there is nothing to indicate that he would get up to speed or hire really qualified assistants who know… Read more »

Guess they’re trying to push the new strain of the china virus again to terrorize the population.. Cases folks.. do NOT mean deaths or hospitalizations. Its similar to the flu.. New strains pop up all the time and the virus is clearly getting much weaker with every mutation. There will be the , G H I Y T R strains. The Israelis have ID’d 18 drugs that can cure you. period,.

Update. Virus cases are up over 8000% ( yes ) on the border with infected illegals flooding in and over 600 BP officers are now infected . In the meantime, they are shipping the illegals to every point in America and they’re not vax’ed and the bidenites seem to NOT care if they are. They’re giving the game away..The game seems to be to have the illegals be the new carriers of the china virus, to boost cases numbers and then declare new lockdowns due to a huge spike in cases.. aka.. more control.. ( again .. Not Deaths or… Read more »

If he survives then (1) probably rigged, and/or (2) the voters in California are so demonstrably stupid they deserve the dystopian hell that has become that once great state.

Don’t die, you mustn’t, and don’t give up. Someone wrote that the American Revolution was fought by 7% of the population. You must reach down into yourself and find your courage because it is in there somewhere.

Bill, I get it. All this stuff is happening so fast and also thrust in our faces everywhere we go. To deal with this, I try to stay connected to God and serve lovingly the people He has assigned me. I sometimes feel like I am blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back sword fighting 5 people.

I find your opinions helpful in threads.

The false premise here (and elsewhere) is reliance on polls that ostensibly show Gov Gav beating the recall effort. But the PPIC poll was put out there to create opinion, not reflect it, and the IGS-Berkeley poll has a flawed methodology. We won’t know whether Gavin will be thrown out until we throw him out (or don’t). But it’s not a done deal AT ALL.

Clearly they have the ballots already printed and the fraud in place. So it won’t make any difference. With 1.8 million extra voters in the last election… its a done deal and just an exercise.

Correct.. The real reason for polls nowadays is to,.. as you said.. to FORM opinions .. NOT report opinions. They’re trying to put it in your head that there no use in voting as you are the minority vote.. It’s probably much closer than they are letting you know.
