ICYMI: Orson Wells dishes the dirt on his dinner companion Adolph Hitler
Orson Welles has rubbed shoulders with some of the highest profile film stars and politicians of the last century, so his interviews don’t come short of name drops.
Here he is on the Dick Cavett show on July 27, 1970.
Note: Some dispute this Wellsian claim. However, the Churchill story is quite interesting too, among others.
Hat tip to a good EGG.
As soon as I saw this photo I started laughing. It reminded me of the hilarious Welles and Henry Jaglom (real or fake?) lunch interview at Ma Maison that was posted here some time ago. Memorable.
Amazing.
I could listen to Welles tell stories like that for ages.
