The position those two in the article held do not benefit the company directly and do not make profit for the company. Those are the types of positions that get reduced and/or removed when a business is analyzing it’s bottom line. It doesn’t matter how many times they have been promoted in the past; if the position is redundant or not needed, so are you. I’m sure of the 10% that are being laid off, all aren’t rainbow warriors.
There’s no way that LGB Diversity is a profit center and only serves as a disruption to Tesla workforce. Better off diverting the money to the legal department.
