When they remove the wasted homeless humans and place them in locked, rehab/ psych facilities, progress will occur.

Let me know when it starts. It won’t. Never mind.

That tired canard about blaming the liberal leftist democrats for homeless issues while ignoring our comprehensive societal collapse is bullsh&t. It just drags the conversation into a preconceived intellectual dead zone that most Americans follow all too readily and is to the complete delight of our “leaders”. Berkeley has been a dumping ground for other cities in The Valley, C.C. and Alameda counties since 1980. Progressives love their pets and make sure they get taxpayer support and protection.
Until a few move on to their street. Then they want the same government to do something with those smelly hobos and junk boat people in Marin.
Democrat politicians have structured a system where they pocket profits and power either way.

They get $630/mo. if homeless? Lose it if employed or re-homed? What’s not to like? Sloth, filth, intoxication, degeneracy, and a myriad of other quality lifestyles awaits the next generation.
