When I was in the volunteer fire department, it was well known amongst we first responders that we simply couldn’t be relied on to get there in time and that was 30 years ago. Nowadays, it’s not even about getting there in time…heck these police are even told to stand down once they get there. Seems like all they are there for is to fill out the paperwork. It is deeper than that. Didn’t the people recently approve a new sales tax on themselves? That has done nothing it was promised to do. I am a retired LA county deputy who saw this coming years ago.
